Custom Pet Portrait

A hand painted portrait of your pet, drawn from a selection of your favourite photos. Portraits are black and white with a luminous gold sun or moon motif in the background. Some light grass or plant detail may be added if it is appropriate to the composition. A hand-drawn, delicate black line frames each portrait on the page. 

Materials: high quality, natural Japanese calligraphy ink with intense, rich pigment that resists fading over long periods. The paper is a lightly textured, cold press, archival watercolour paper (300gsm). Framing not included.

Terms:

1. Each artwork includes the number of pets selected at checkout, and a gold motif in the in the background.
2. Extra pets, upgrades, or outlying delivery areas may cost extra.
3. Portraits are created in my signature style using your photos.
4. Turnaround time is usually 5 business days depending on availability.
5. Allow 2 - 5 extra business days for courier delivery within main South African regions.
6. You will be contacted to supply your favourite photos of your pets (2 or 3 photos, no more than 10).
7. Photos should be clear, high-quality photos of the whole body / face of your pet(s). 
8. Poor-quality references photographs may affect the final artwork. 
9. Work will begin only once the best possible photographic reference has been agreed on.
10. Minor adjustments will be considered at the artist’s discretion.
